Yummy and delicious karupatti halwa is a famous sweet made in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The sweetness of the palm sugar with the velvety smooth texture of the halwa is simply amazing and delights your sweet cravings.

Ingredients

1 cup “ADISIL” Palm sugar

¼ cup rice flour 

3 cups coconut milk

½ cup ghee

½ cup water

1 tsp cardamom powder

For Garnishing - 20 nos cashews, 10 nos raisins

How to Make

  • Mix Base – In a bowl, combine rice flour and coconut milk. Blend until smooth.
  • Prepare Syrup – In a deep-bottom vessel, add Adisil Palm Sugar with water and bring to a boil.
  • Combine & Thicken – Gradually add the rice flour mixture into the syrup, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook until it thickens.
  • Add Ghee & Flavour – Add ghee little by little, stirring well. Cook on a low flame until the halwa thickens and the oil starts releasing from the sides. Mix in cardamom powder.
  • Season & Finish – In the remaining ghee, roast cashews and raisins. Add them to the halwa and continue cooking until the oil completely separates.
  • Set & Serve – Pour the halwa into a greased tray, level it, and let it set for 2–3 hours before cutting into pieces.

Slice and serve delicious KARUPATTI HALWA.
